The utilization rate of fertilizer in China is not high, only 35% of the season. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, China's fertilizer use increased by 61% in 1980 to 2002, compared with a 31% increase in food production. The low utilization rate of fertilizer has been a problem in agricultural fertilization in China. Lu Rukun and other studies have found that the utilization rate of phosphate fertilizer in Chinese farmland is only 10%~25%. Low utilization rate of phosphate fertilizer not only causes serious waste of resources, but also makes a lot of phosphorus accumulate in soil, which leads to farmland and environmental pollution.
Therefore, increasing the utilization rate of phosphate fertilizer is of great significance to the sustainable development of agriculture and environmental protection. Chemical fertilizers accounted for more than 25% of the cost of agricultural production (material cost), which accounted for about 50% of all material costs (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, machinery, irrigation and drainage, etc.), and the country, local and farmers paid a great price for it.
