(1) Correct selection of fertilizer varieties

Water-soluble fertilizers are mostly used for foliar application. In order to improve the effect of spraying, it is very important to select a reasonable spraying time and location. Generally, it is sprayed at 9-11 am and 3-5 pm. The sprayed part should be selected from the young leaves and the back of the leaves, usually 7-10 days, for 3 consecutive times. Under normal circumstances, the spray concentration can be diluted by about 800 times. In addition, spraying should avoid rain, low temperature or high temperature exposure. It should be used as needed, not for a long time, and precipitation for a long time will reduce the effectiveness of the fertilizer.

Irrigation and fertilization

When watering or irrigating the soil, mix it in the irrigation water first, so that the roots of the plant can be fully exposed to the fertilizer, and the chemical nutrients can be transported to the tissues of the plant through the respiration of the roots.

Drip irrigation, sprinkler irrigation and soilless cultivation

In some desert areas or places with extreme water shortages, large-scale planted large farms, and high-quality, high-value-added cash crop plantations, drip irrigation, sprinkler irrigation and soilless cultivation techniques are often used to save irrigation water and improve labor productivity. This is called “water and fertilizer integration”, that is, when irrigating, the fertilizer has been dissolved in the water, and the watering process is also the process of fertilization. At this time, the nutrients needed by the plants can be obtained by water-soluble fertilizers, which saves water and fertilizer, and saves labor.

(3) Reasonable application concentration

To grasp the application concentration, the application effect is too low when the concentration is too low, and the excessive concentration will cause harm to the crop and cause waste. The application concentration should be determined according to the product instruction manual, the type of fertilizer, the type of crop, and the couple of crop growth and development.
